Before you share something with the Circle, it helps to know exactly what happens next. This page explains it in plain language.
When you submit something to Sooma Circle
You may be sharing:
- A story
- A community recommendation
- A Diaspora Note
- A Builder nomination
- A guide suggestion
- A topic request
- A piece of community insight
Review before publishing
Contributions are read by Circle Stewards before anything is published. Review is not a judgement of you — it is how the Circle stays trustworthy, safe, and useful.
Some contributions are published, some are held, and some are used quietly to improve guides and shared knowledge.
Publishing consent
By submitting a contribution, you understand that Sooma Circle may review it, lightly edit it for clarity, formatting, safety, and privacy, and publish it if it is approved.
Publication is never guaranteed, and nothing is published while it is still a draft.
Private information
- Please do not include private contact information unless it is genuinely necessary.
- Please do not submit someone else's private information without their permission.
- Builder nominations may be edited to remove private contact details.
- Sooma Circle may remove private details before publishing anything.
Attribution
When a contribution is published, attribution stays limited and privacy-conscious. Depending on what you've shared and what you've allowed, it may appear as:
- Your first name
- The city you returned from
- “A Sooma member”
Email addresses and phone numbers are never shown.
Withdrawal or correction
You can ask us to correct or remove something you've contributed. If it is still a draft, you can delete it yourself from My Circle.
For anything already published, write to hello@soomacircle.com and a Circle Steward will take care of it.
